"Three Vignettes" is a single-movement work for violin, cello & piano that divides into three contrasting sections (or vignettes) – the first is rather dark and rhapsodic, the second is beautifully flowing and driving ahead, and the third features driving ostinatos and merges the themes from the previous two sections.
