Description

The Yamaha YCL450 Bb Clarinet has a grenadilla body and silver plated keys. It features a bell shape and barrel design similar to that of the V Series, which offers a 'professional' sound with an easy response. The new bell design also gives improved intonation and projection, especially in the lower register. The new barrel enhances the response, flexibility and tonal focus.

The YCL450M features “Duet+” which is original Yamaha technology that produces an ABS resin bore lining. Duet+ originates from oboe design technology. The instrument’s bore is protected by a resin layer. The resin layer minimizes changes to the internal wood. Precision is enhanced for more stable tone and pitch. The likelihood of internal distortion and cracking due to humidity changes is reduced. The instrument provides stable long-term sound and playability.
